Opening Day of the 330 7^th Ave Panera café drew a large crowd excited to be the first one to walk thru the open doors of the establishment. This caused a great deal of trash to be accumulated, which isn’t very easily handled in the Big Apple.

By recycling aluminum, plastic, cardboard and glass, offering reusable plastic tumblers and donating its day old pastry the restaurant makes a huge dent in the trash that actually makes its way to the landfill.
